Brewed to celebrate the opening of their new Westboro location. According to what I've read it's a Belgian-style Pale Ale, but the bartender said it was closer to a blend of their brown and red so who knows. From notes.

A - Poured dark red with a little carbonation coming up. Film of head with nice spotty lace and no retention.

S - Spice, malty notes, caramel, lot's of dark fruit as it warms. Not exactly any Belgian qualities but it's nice.

T - Nice spice, a good herbal note from the hops, bready, caramel, dark fruit.

M - Nice carbonation, sweet finish, medium body.

O/D - Very drinkable. Not a 'Belgian' style really but it works well. Subtle flavours come out in layers. I can see it just being a blend of their two beers, but it's flavours melded well if so. Nice.
