Canned 11/29/17

Appearance - Pours clear and golden in color with a white, near finger width head. Fair retention, resulting in a thin, broken layer of suds. The lacing is light, with a few small spots and broken lines.

Smell - Honey sweetness with lesser bread and faint citrus notes.

Taste - Follows the nose. Honey sweetness upfront and throughout with a hint of bread and faint wet cardboard. Light citrusy zing rides beneath before dying off in the finish. Bittersweet aftertaste, with a bit of grapefruit skin bitterness and continuing light cardboard staleness.

Mouthfeel - Light-to-medium in body with fair carbonation. Drinks easy enough but falls a bit flat in the finish.

Overall - This was just delivered to my local bottle shop, so I assumed it fresh. At nearly 4 months old it's definitely lost some freshness. Let this be a reminder to always check for dates, even if it's a brand spanking new delivery. What's here is okay. I honestly don't know if it'd be that much better with only a month of age on it, truth be told.
