American style unfiltered wheat beer infused with locally sourced mandarins. This beer is effervescent and extremely refreshing. Finishes clean with a gentle touch orange tartness. Perfect for waking up the taste buds.

Purchased at Raleys on pleasant grove in roseville. Not pleasant. Way bitter for a beer claiming to be 15 ibu. While somewhat tart, nothing distinctly mandarin like I was hoping for given this being made in such a mandarin-prolific growing region. I got no wheat beer taste from this either. Had to drain-pour, which broke my heart.

Poured from a 22 oz. bottle into a pint glass.
A: A careful pour produced barely a quarter inch of head. A fairly cloudy but brilliant gold appearance invited my lips to the glass.
S: The mandarin orange smell is certainly there, perhaps equally with lemon zest. Bold, but not artificial smelling which was good.
T: Taste was clean, crisp, and dominated by a citrusy lemon/orange combo. Reminded me of a lemon shandy with a tad bit more bitterness.
M: Moderate to moderately strong carbonation, and not a trace of alcohol in the taste. Crisp, clean finish leaving an aftertaste of lemon/orange rind.
O: A little on the light side for my personal preference, but this will be a good gateway beer for some of my lady friends who purport to not like beer. I would gladly drink a glass (or two) again on a hot summer day.

On tap at the Beach Hut Deli in Lincoln, CA.
A half finger of head on a cloudy, golden colored body.
The aroma is all mandarin, as advertised.
The taste has a mild bitterness and lots of mandarin with a clean finish.
The texture is smooth and crisp with moderate carbonation and medium bitterness.
A mild and good tasting beer.
