Might as well be called an excellent NE IPA, but it is a DDH American Pale Ale. Pleasantly surprised how good this is.
They are brewing this again. I found a 4 pack in bottles. Excellent!

Doing a side by side with regular Envie, the DDH is opaque maize with a very large cream-colored froth settling unevenly and convexly leaving tons of coral, fuzzy lace.
Smell is creamier than regular, like vanilla orange, but still with that spice of pink peppercorn, pine and cracker.
Taste is orange lemonade with more pine and a little amaretto-spiked wood, mango and mint.
Crisp with a bigger froth on that palate and a drier finish than regular.
Maybe a little more unique than Envie, but I enjoyed regular a bit more.
