Collaboration with The Answer
This double mashed, three hour boiled, 10.5% ABV liquid Doberge Cake inspired stout was brewed in collaboration with our good friends @theanswerva right here in Broussard, Louisiana. We channeled their hedonistic energy of irresponsible adjunct usage and infused raw Ghana cacao in the whirlpool, fermenter, and brite tank (totaling 30lbs/bbl of nibs). For even further enhancement, we added both Madagascar and Tahitian vanilla to emulate the delicate and airy nature of fresh cake

This one pours a very dark black color, with a small head, and not much lacing.
This smells like unsweetened chocolate cake, weird dusty and slightly artificial chocolate, deep vanilla, and slight roast.
This is disappointing compared to what I was expected. There's a sort of degraded and dusty chocolate flavor here - it's not quite right - not quite what it's supposed to be like. The vanilla is nice, though, and saves this beer from being too spotty.
This is medium bodied - a touch thin for the style. It's a slower sipper.
This was a tad bit disappointing.

On-draught @ the brewery.
A gooey gloppy saccharine mess of a beer, dripping with Hershey's chocolate syrup notes, heavy dark malt sweetness, specialty chocolate malt, and cakey insulin-spiking flavour.
Horribly underattenuated. Would be a chore to drink if more than 5oz was poured.

The vanilla here develops into that hot cocoa mini-marshmallow flavor, which is paired with sweet milk chocolate and cake mix in this frothy, medium bodied confection. This Dunkin chocolate cake donut at least finishes semi-dry, and doesn't leave frosting on your mustache...?

Literally liquid chocolate cake. The Answer's influence on this beer is obvious in all aspects. Definitely a sipper, easily one of the sweetest beers I've ever had, but damn is it good.
