Hazy light gold color with good cap and lacing.
Aroma of fresh, vibrant, citrusy hops, I get grapefruit and lemon zest.
Definitely accents the citrus hops first in taste. I get a solid malt base without a lot of malt flavor, it's there and certainly part of the profile but not the most striking thing about the overall taste. Hops are center stage here and I can't say I'm that familiar with Strata hops but this comes across as grapefruit and lemon zest with the zinginess of that combination. Fairly well made and complex enough to be interesting. Finishes dry.
Medium full texture with balancing carbonation.
Well made and interesting enough for those who care about brewing details yet refreshing enough for those who don't.

BOTTLE:
Lemon, cool citrus, tang, lychee, obvious acidity, passion fruit, scintilla of strawberry. I think this is my first time trying a Strata (dry-)hopped beer, but I have to say I dig the hop profile.
Smooth, wet, medium-bodied, well-carbonated, refreshing. Not oily.
Highly drinkable with a noticeably unique hop profile that would keep me coming back for more were this not $10.99 USD per 4-pack. If offered in sixers at the same price, it'd be an occasional repeat buy.
Low B / GOOD

Bottled 05/03/19. Stamped “STRATA”.
Opaque straw gold color. Soft, creamy head that leaves behind nice amounts of lace around the inside of the glass.
Some sweet malt starting to emerge, but predominantly getting zesty grapefruit & pineapple on the nose with hints of papaya and floral hops. The nose sweetens as it opens up.
Fairly dry flavor profile. A return of that mildly bitter pineapple presence, but not as much tropicality as I expected. There is, however, a nice subtle dank herbal quality that I liked, complimenting grapefruit undertones.
The feel here is fairly light and dry, with a seltzery carbonation but a soft mouthfeel in the finish. I’d say a tad over the hill but drinking really well.

Date: Bottled on 05/03/19, consumed on 06/15/19.
Appearance: Pours out a milky pale yellow creating one finger plus of a rocky white colored head.
Aroma: Dank green hops, pineapple, a little bit of papaya, all riding on a big dose of oated lemon. The aromatics of the DDH are very apparent on this one, quite bold.
Taste: The taste has all of the same components as the nose, just in differing amounts. All of the overt hop aromas and sweet citrus take a backseat to the dry pithy lemon and chalky oat flavors. Overall the the beer just feels too weak flavor wise, like the taste simply cannot deliver what the nose promised. The mouthfeel is decent though and it doesn’t go too far toward being overly sweet or anything, but Envie just isn’t my glass of beer.

Pours a hazy deep yellow. Moderate head and retention.
Nose is muted tropical fruits.
Taste is citrus rind, tropical fruit, resin.
Underwhelming. Flavors are muted despite beer being fresh.
