Pours a mainly hazy reddish brown color with a thin foamy head. Small pour. Aromas of dark fruits, cinnamon, and nuts. Nice sweet dark fruit taste. Raisins, plums, cinnamon, pecans. Very good.

Pours a dark brown color, completely opaque even when held to the light. Thin off-white head dissipates until just a thin ring of foam is left on the top of the beer.
Aroma has notes of dark fruits, plums, brandy, dark candied sugars, vanilla, cinnamon, apple cinnamon, and rich malts.
Taste follows the nose with notes of cinnamon, dark fruits - plum, raisins - cinnamon, apples, brandy, candied sugars and a warming alcohol note on the back end. Light barrel and vanilla notes come through as the beer warms. The overall profile is something along the lines of an apple cinnamon barleywine.
Feel is medium to full bodied. Sticky and almost chewy. Mild carbonation.
Overall a lovely sipper of a barleywine.
