Collaboration with Cerebral Brewing
A collaborative DIPA with our close pals Cerebral Brewing showcasing our mutual techniques and inspirations. We took the best parts of Ghost and Rare Trait grain bills with malted wheat and oats to prime a large addition of Mosaic Incognito hot side. We followed up with a massive Motueka and Galaxy dry hop, adding punchy notes of mixed berry with a splash of pineapple.

A: The beer is hazy pale whitish yellow in color. It poured with a short white head that quickly died down, leaving just some lacing down the sides of the glass.
S: Light aromas of herbs are present in the nose along with nots of lime.
T: The taste follows the smell, except that the lime flavors are a bit stronger than those of the herbs and there are additional hints of stone fruit and pine.
M: It feels nearly medium-bodied and a bit juicy on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer is lighter in body compared to what I would expect for something with its strength.

5 oz brewery pour.
Milky juicy yellow with a fingernail of head and lots of speckled lacing.
Aroma is dank fruity apricot, grass, persimmon, a little melon.
Flavor is a bit green yet, good news for those who won't get to it for awhile. But it's very stiff, slightly vegetal, moderately grassy, with notes of persimmon and citrus. A bit offensive in its current state. I perceive it will open up more with another week of age.
Feel is juicy and carbonated. Semi creamy.
Overall not their best collab or best work. The cans are dated 2/23 and are $20/4 pack at the brewery. To me personally based on this 5 oz pour, it's not worth the purchase, perhaps if it were $12-13 I'd give it a go. I know these collabs can get expensive though, and it's always crossing your fingers (along with talent and science of course) that it lives up to the initial expense plus a little profit.
Like I said, has a lot of potential to open up with time. It wouldn't be the worst thing to buy a 4 pack to try. It's not gonna be a drain pour, but it may be less exciting than you'd hope.
