Our Drive Thru series was born as an ode to a Louisiana staple: Drive Thru Daiquiri shops. This thick, daiquiri-style sour packs saturated fruit flavor into a high ABV smoothie. The series’ second installment, Drive Thru: Amaretto Pineapple is super-saturated with Pineapple puree then topped with a generous dose of sweet almond, perfectly mimicking the classic Daiquiri you already know and love. Delightfully sunny, It pours a viscous bright yellow and packs a punchy 8% ABV.

A: The beer is very hazy pale whitish yellow in color. It poured with a quarter finger high white head that left a thin collar around the edge and some lacing down the sides of the glass.
S: Moderate aromas of pineapple are present in the nose along with notes of amaretto.
T: The taste is nearly a mirror image to the smell. Only a slight amount of sourness is noticeable.
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied and a little tart on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: I found this beer to have a nice balance between the pineapple and amaretto. It makes for a refreshing tropical fruit beverage.
