Hazy pale sunshine with leggy trailers of bone white; pineapple, passionfruit + pine forest floor on the nose; tangerine, fresh cut ripe mango, apricot, kiwi, gooseberry, dim evergreen, and a hopsack linger; soft, oily, round.

7/7 canning - this is almost exactly 7 months old. That’s dire for a NEIPA, and it’s all my fault. Just a bit of performance anxiety in drinking a beer with so much potential to be awesome.
And it is faded. What’s impressive is how the shape hasn’t changed: still a base of bright tropical, hints of both PacSun raspberry and and NS white grape. There’s even shades of strawberry candy that Weldwerks mentions.
Credit to the brewer that this held up as well as it did. I’m missing some nuance, but I’ll catch it the next time around. I’m sold on Phantasm.
Great final beer before Dry February.

3 months old. Can to wine glass.
L: Pours a full and hazy yellow with a foamy white head that leaves a bit of lacing. No floaters.
S: Light smell of fresh citrus fruits. Grapefruit‘s there, lemon‘s there, orange as well.
T: Fresh citrus fruits are dominating the taste, too. Mainly lemon, but also grapefruit and tangerine. Passion fruit is there as well. Green and grassy. Slightly herbal. Minimal sweetness, medium bitterness and a bit tart.
F: Juicy and fresh. Smooth and crushable. Low carbonation.
O: Nice little DIPA that drinks more like an IPA. Very smooth despite it’s 8.5%. By far not as good as the breweries‘ best stuff, but still a solid beer.

Nice classic hazy double India pale ale looks; densely cloudy peach-orange body; one-finger thick head, semi-rocky and creamy, long lasting. Oats and biscuit malt aroma carrying a mild citrus note; orange. Nice taste; white grapefruit and white grape must; biscuit; heavy bitterness; moderately boozy. Heavy body; fairly intense dryness.
A very nice collaborative beer, pretty much nailing the style. They utilized Nelson Sauvin, Pacific Sunrise, and Phantasm powder in its style.
Pouring temperature: 45 °F; canning info: n/a/; source: Tavour

Standard NEIPA. Cloudy, citrusy, juicy. The usual citrusy flavors. A bit of a bitter aftertaste. Subtly alcohol presence. Crisp, refreshing, tasty. I like it.
