Opaque dirty yellow-orange body; somewhat thin yet dense and creamy head, white and lasting. Fresh orange juice and tropical fruit aroma. Overall intense bitter flavor; citrus pith; slight sense of orange; light touch of oats. Heavy body; Thick, velvety mouthfeel; semi-boozy dryness.
Great smell and mouthfeel don't quite make up for an over-powering bitter flavor. Sure, there are other taste notes, but they are buried deep. Perhaps a fresher version would be more complex and balanced.

Packing as much lupulin power into their beer, Parish Brewing turns to a massive blend of Nelson Sauvin CGX, Cascade and Citra Spectrum hops. They're betting on this imperial hazy IPA being a winner!
Kicking off with a tarnish banana gold appearance, the ruddy gold beer floats and eggshell froth with a thick and foamy cap. As the beer's bold hop perfume rolls off of the top, a notion of deep, dark and bruised fruit emit in the forms of citrus, tropical and stone fruit with a dank pot perfume. Sweeter in taste, the early impressions of cereal, sweet grains, honey and poundcake carry the malty load.
As the malt and cereal relax on the middle palate, the taste bursts with orange, grapefruit, apricot, pineapple, mango and passionfruit, all seeming to be over ripe and even in a bruised fruit state. Opening to the flavors of banana and pawpaw, papaya and cantaloup. Trending earthy, dank and balancing in its bitterness, the later impression of fresh spruce, cedar, sassafras, verbena, tea and pine tar leave a lasting impression.
Full bodied, creamy and rife with a sticky, bitter-sweet finish, the ale finishes slightly more malty than dry with a linger of gin-like botanicals, bruised fruits and spruce.

Deep orange in color with a bright white head that has some serious sticking power in the lacing. Nose is citrus. Taste is heavy on the citrus and has a serious bitterness. The mouthfeel is smooth and soft.
