Escape the freezing winds of winter with our latest crispy cold juice bomb of a DIPA. From the Southern Hemisphere hop fields of New Zealand, Motueka and Nectaron create a zippy lime and tropical profile. What makes this hazy DIPA truly unique are heaps on heaps of Quantum terpenes to further juice things up. We’ve released it draft-only in the past but it snowballed into a cult-followed brand that we just had to put into cans!

Arrived in an IPA variety package from Half Time pretty much at ambient temperature. Refrigerated immediately and until served. Poured from a 16 oz can dated 2/27/25 to a bulbous, tulip-like glass.
The body is a milky and of a light orange color, approximately SRM 3. The ⅜inch/10mm head is bright white and the lacing is medium. The head vades to a single layer in about 2-3 minutes with some large bubbles here and there. A thin layer remains for the entire session.
I get mostly orange rind from the aroma, but maybe some berry.
The taste is a little more complex. Sure citrus rind, but also peach and a suggestion of bitterness.. Sweetness there except for the finish when alcohol makes itself known.
The mouthfeel is medium to light for the style. Carbonation is about right in volume, but it has a sensation of very small bubbles.
Pretty good, but I probably would have enjoyed it more without the alcohol finish. Sure it's 8.5%, but some beers of that level hide it better.

Poured from a can (canned on 2/27/25 (41 days old)) into a pint glass
Appearance – The beer pours a very hazy orange juice color with a two-finger head of white foam. The head has a good level of retention, fading and leaving a good deal of foamy lace on the surface of the brew and on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma is quite heavy of a peach and tangerine smell mixed with notes of apricot and peach and a decent showing of bread and yeast. At the same time there is a bit of dank pine and herbal hops, along with notes of grapefruit. A little bit of pepper and wood are in there as well, creating a more subtle, not overly juiced aroma.
Taste – The taste starts with the malt that was in the nose, with bready malts paired with a bit of biscuit and a decent showing of oat. Along with these tastes are flavors of grapefruit and herbal hop, with light notes of pine. There is some fruit upfront as well, with a subtle apricot and orange flavor paired with a bit of mango and pineapple. Other flavors of pine and a light vegetal flavor develop as the taste advances, adding a nice deepness to the taste. At the end a bit of wood and a light pepper come one, mixing with the rest to leave a moderately malty, not overly sweet, and dank and dark hopped taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body was thick and chewy with a moderate to slightly higher carbonation, both of which helped accentuate the unique mix of flavors here.
Overall – I very much liked this one. On the more dank and creamy side with a strong citrus presence without being overly sweet. The very light wood and vegetal hop flavor add a very nice dimension, mellowing out the other flavors well. In a world of super “juiced up” NEIPA’s this is a nice alternative. I would certainly at least recommend that one try this one.

Orange and cloudy like most NEIPAs. Very white and thick head. Leaves some glass gripping lacing. Nose is pineapple and maybe mango. Taste was quite surprising. I had an initial flavor a orange and pineapple, the a sweetness like cantaloupe builds on the palate. Very little bitterness, I assume due to the sweetness.

A rather mild IPA. Yellow gold hues, very cloudy, big fluffy white head and sticky lacing. Scents of tropical fruit, a slight dankness. Taste follows, though not as strong. Soft, light feel, slight mouth watering finish, alcohol is hidden well.
