It’s been a while since Tiger Blood was lurking in the brewery. Now, from the shadows emerges the new king of the jungle. Introducing DRIVE THRU: JUNGLE JUICE, the apex of daiquiri beer technology. This big 8% ABV Berliner Weisse is loaded with tropical fruit and summertime citrus, just like its namesake staple of every Louisiana daiquiri shop menu from Shreveport to Grand Isle. Dosed to the max with pineapple, strawberry, orange, lemon, and lime, Drive Thru: Jungle Juice packs a heavy-hitting fruit punch.

Doing their part to smoothen out the beer scene, Parish gets in line for a smoothie take on Berlinerweisse. Flooded with pineapple, strawberry, orange, lemon and lime, scurvy also looks to be in the rear view mirror.
Pouring a hazy, clumpy and tarnish gold, Drive Thru may look like an ugly duckling but its scent is beautifully bright with prescribed citrus, tropical and berry aromas in a soft vanilla wrap. Expectedly sweet once on the palate, notions of shortcake, wafer and fruit sugars lace the mouth.
A sharpening of its underpinning sourness reveals a middle palate of lime, lemon, green apple, white grape, passionfruit and gooseberry, but the overcast of pineapple, orange and strawberry give the session a decidedly smoothie taste. Trending tart, the late palate is briskly acidic, tangy and partially cleansing.
Medium bodied overal, but fuller for sour ale, the smoothie sour ale is rounded with vanilla cream for a balance taste that sacrifices refreshment and cleanliness for flavor and complexity. Its basically a sour ale on training wheels, perfectly suited for those learning to like sour ale.

Orangissh in color. Nice white head. Nose is certainly fruit, with sweet fruits coming through. Taste is similar with strawberry and pineapple heavier than others but still some lime coming through.
