This pours a crystal clear tan gold with nice foam. Dominating aroma of citrus peel and pine resin, matched by the palate. Big bitter dry finish. Some boozy heat as it warms and opens. Classic big west coast DIPA. Check check check.

Oranges & Mangos. Hints of Apricot but primarily a orange and mango Julius. Hop forward while retaining a solid and balanced malt backbone without being cloying or overly sweet like so many of this ABV seem to be. This one gets better as it warms with each sip.
Not sure that this meets the top tiers of the 10%ers of the style, but damn good representation none the less.
