Bomber from Big Al's Market. Dark brown, sunlight coming through, beige foamy head. Aroma is sweet and nutty, Maple and pecans. Taste is full-on pecan pie topped with maple syrup instead of whipped cream. A sweet sugar bomb but pretty damn tasty.

With a semi-cloudy amber color, it boasts flavors of maple syrup, brandy, subtle citrus, dark toffee, light phenols and caramel and a hint of lemon. The body is well-rounded for a beer that would potentially be too sweet, but it is balanced! It also has good carbonation for a thick mouthfeel, with the aroma following the flavor with slightly more maple brandy and the aftertaste is close to toffee pudding. Overall, this is a fantastic flavored beer! I also recommend their Campfire stout, along with Saugatuck Brewing’s Blueberry Maple Stout, the Blueberry Cobbler from Atwater Brewery and the Blueberry Ale from Sea Dog Brewing Company.

16oz can into a pint glass. Coding hard to figure out, but likely not more than 6 months old.
Mixed look to this one. Deep reddish brown body, clear, but when held up to the light, there are many tiny suspended particulates. Off white head is initially full and foamy with some lacing, but neither last.
Aroma is exactly as advertised on the can. Maple pecan pie filling. Sweet and syrupy.
On tasting, exactly follows the nose except for some burnt bitterness at the end.
Mouth close to full, finish a progression from cloyingly sweet to burnt bitterness.
Overall, if you have a sweet tooth like me, you might enjoy this one. And only one at a time. If you dont have a sweet tooth, avoid this one.

From the can, it pours a lightly reddish brown color with a modest, long lasting, off-white head. Scent is a bit nutty - pecan and a touch of maple. Taste follows nose with a powerful maple pecan flavor followed by a light malt. Smooth feel.

- brewed with Vermont maple sugar and pecans.
A: Ice tea colored pour has an impressive beige/khaki capping, with a spongey texture and at 2 plus fingers. Nice spongey finger lace patterns on the glass. Full-filling tiny micro carbonation beads is steady and true. Apt color matches its intentions nicely.
S: Maple pecan pie, no doubt about that. Brown sugar, maple syrup and prominent cinnamon bun flair. Sweet and sugary pastry scent, caramel glazed donought, with some honey. Back notes of walnuts and pecans. Good strength overall, and a very good representation of intended flavoring. Light smoky caramel and brownies round out.
T: Flavor beholds a deep and roasty coffee nature, some pecan pie sweetness, deep chocolate and a bitter earthy roast. Dark walnut and pecan nuttiness with some dark caramelized malt and maple syrup sweetness for balance. Vanilla cream rounds out.
M: Mouthful is full bodied, moist start with a dry coffee ground finish. Bitter and bready malts and a light carbonation factor.
O: Overall I am a sucker for pastry beers, this has a very nice intention and silky rich coffee backbone, a bit more roasty then I would of expected, then something a bit sweeter, but certainly not a deal breaker.
