22 oz. bottle:
Pours hazed brown-tinted copper. A lasting creamy head leaves lacing.
The smell is of caramel, earthy/minty spicing, some tobacco and wood/pine.
The taste is of sweet caramel, wet tobacco, leafy/minty spicing in the sweet-leaning finish.
Smooth. A bit on the thin side, but holds together.
An APA that fits the style, though somewhat unique. A good brew.

Didn't like this one at all. Annoying bready aroma and taste. Didn't finish the bottle. It's more like "kvas" with some alcohol and hops.

Had on tap about 23 miles from the brewery.
S: Mild banana
T: Banana stronger in the taste. A number of odd flavor notes. Possibly infected with Hefe yeast or fermentation problem.
F: Under carbonated, nearly flat.
O: May have been bad keg - I hope so. I drank an inch or so from the pint glass and sent it back. The server said, "No problem, you're not the first." Can't recommend.

22 oz bottle. No bottling date info
Pours a dark amber-copper body with thick 1and1/2 inch slightly off white head. Good retention, good lacing
Smell is faint and very much in the background . Bready malt, pine, a tiny bit of citrus
Taste is a decent balance of malt and piney, slightly bitter hops
Light to medium feel. Interestingly, it pours like it's heavily carbonated. But very few visible bubbles after the pour.
A decent representation of the style and it looked really nice... But I can think of a quite a few pale ales that I prefer over this one.

Acquired via trade from Donkster46 so a big “Thank You” goes out to him. Poured from a 22oz bottle into a mug glass.
A: The beer is a deep amber color, with a thin off-white head that fades quickly and leaves a thick lace on the glass.
S: The aroma contains caramelized malts, piney hops and some citrus.
T: The taste starts out sweet with flavors of caramel and citrus. Then a decent hops presence comes in. The malt character is hearty but not too heavy and provides a very good balance. The after-taste is slightly sweet and slightly hoppy.
M: Crisp and smooth, medium body, medium carbonation, finish is clean and dry.
O: Tasty, goes down very easily, not too filling, mild kick, good representation of style, this is a very nice beer to pound down for a long time.
