The bartender only knew that this was called "an Imperial ale", if anyone has better info, please update. Served in nonic. Poured a cloudy orange-amber color with about 1/2 inch of off-white head that had OK retention and good lacing.

The aroma was a nice balance of softly citrusy hops and nice, but not notable, malts. The flavor was a nice blend of the citrus hops, a bit of a floral taste and the soft malts. While the flavors overall were a bit mellow, the overall flavor was a bit on the sweet side, and there was a lingering citrus hop finish.

The body was nicely medium and smooth, and, again, with a lingering citrus finish. Drinkability was good, smooth and easy. Overall, a very nice brew. certainly worth a shot if you see it.
