Wow this is one of the best beers I have ever had. Amazing on all levels. Wish I bought more than one when I was in slo. So good in considering going back to buy a case. And it's 3 hours away from where I live. You must try this beer. Epic!

On tap at Newhall Refinery in Newhall, CA.
Pours a clear dark orange with a foamy khaki head that settles to a partial film on top of the beer. Foamy swaths of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of toasted malt, citrus fruit, and citrus zest aromas. Taste is much the same with brown sugar, citrus zest, and grapefruit juice flavors on the finish. There is a medium amount of hop bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp and dry mouthfeel. Overall, this is a pretty good beer with nice bright citrus forward hop aspects that are slightly better in the taste to me.
Serving type: on tap.
