On tap for the 2014 Los Angeles Vegan Beer Festival held in West Hollywood, CA.
Pours a clear honey orange with a foamy bone head that settles to a partial film on top of the beer. Small dots of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of malt, honey, citrus zest, and slight herbal hop aromas. Taste is much the same with citrus zest and grapefruit juice flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of hop bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp and sticky mouthfeel. Overall, this is a pretty good beer that has a solid aroma, but has a slightly better hop presence in the taste.
