On tap at the brewery. Served in a goblet.
Appearance - Black body. Big mocha head. Great retention and a thick collar.
Smell - Coffee roasted malt. A little nutty. Dark chocolate. Oatmeal, I think.
Taste - Much roastier. Intense, nearly burnt, malt character. Coffee. Bitter chocolate. Less oatmeal, but it's there. Mineral flavor lingers in the finish.
Mouthfeel - Medium heavy. Kinda chewy. Medium carbonation.
Overall - The stone crab adds an interesting element. It doesn't taste like crab at all, just gives it the mineral flavor.
