Recieved a growler of this in a trade with GallowsThief (Thanks Rich!). Bottled on 1/24/11. Poured into a NB globe.

A - Arsenal pours a nice deep amber color with a slime white head. A bit of lacing along the glass is present as well. A good looking beer overall.

S - Nose is composed mostly of pine notes from the hops. A very slight bit of malt in there too, on par for the style.

T - A good balance of piney hops and malt backbone. Nice and simple but pleasing taste.

M - Smooth going down with a medium/light body. Carbonation also seems pretty good.

D - Highly drinkable IPA from an up and coming brewery. I would have this one again.

Poured out of a growler into my Duvel tulip.

A - Pours a cloudy amberish gold color with about a one inch head that receded fairly quickly. Leaves a nice line of lacing down the glass.

S - Has a nice initial smell of bitter hops. You get a piney smell as well with just a bit of flowery in the mix.

T - Nice light bitter hop taste. Not over powering in the least. Has an interesting fruit flavor in it as well that lends to just a slight bit of sweet. Has a light citrus flavor in the mix with just a touch of a pine.

M - Wonderfully creamy which is a surprise. Medium bodied. Decent carbonation. Leaves a clean refreshing taste in the mouth. Leaves a nice coating on the palate.

D - Absolutely drinkable. This is just a great all around brew.

* Reviewer is a total homer for TBC brews. Matt the brewer is the man. Reviewer suggests you go and get a few beers and try them for yourself.
