128 oz. growler (thanks, Florida...) poured into a pint glass.

Appearance - Deep red body. Nice off-white head. Lasts forever. A bit of lacing remains.

Smell - Nutty caramel. Toasty malt. Mild earthy hops.

Taste - Brightly hop bite up front. Earthy hops again. Toasty malt. Caramel and a faint bit of sweetness. Spicy and mild bitter finish.

Mouthfeel - Medium body. Bitterness cuts the malts well. Well carbonated.

Overall - At first, I thought it was a kinda dull standard red ale, but it's very drinkable and well made.

Poured out of a growler into my Duvel tulip.

A - Poured out a nice reddish brown. Good solid 3 inch head that settled to a frothy one inch layer. Nice lacing left behind.

S - Has a nice light aroma. Good bit of earthiness. Some sweetness as well. Roasted malts.

T - Malty and roasty up front. Has a nice nutty flavor. Tastes a bit like caramel in there giving just a bit of sweetness. Finishes with just a tiny bitterness that balances the flavor well.

M - Medium bodied with nice carbonation that gives a nice tingle to the brew.

D - Happy St. Patrick's day have a few and kick back to some Irish tunes.

* Reviewer is a total homer for TBC brews. Matt the brewer is the man. Reviewer suggests you go and get a few beers and try them for yourself.
