One of the rotating Wheats known as Julio's Weizen.
Arrives a beautiful hazy yellow-orange with a creamy white head. Retention is good. Decent lace.
Smell is a really nice balance of malt, yeast, hops and citrus.
Taste is bold with malt, wheat, orange and lemon notes balanced very well with some hops and yeast.
A refreshing and full-bodied brew. Good effervescence with a tangy star and middle leading to a slow fade into a malt and citrus aftertaste. Solid and delicious. A great afternoon thirst quencher and not at all heavy.

Poured out of a growler into my Duvel tulip.
A – Pours a cloudy, golden yellow with a solid three fingers of stark, fluffy white head that stay around.
S – Has a slightly sour smell that I tend to associate with Belgians. Earthy. Bananas. Wheat.
T – Interesting funky yeast taste to start. Follows with nice notes of banana. You also get a bit of clove in there as well. Feels like a slight lemon taste. Spiciness in the close and a little bitter.
M – Crisp mouthfeel. Medium bodied. Just a bit drying. Clean finish.
O – Really nice traditional German hefe. Solid tasting and I love the banana notes. Has an ample amount of spice. Great drinking brew especially on a hot summer day.
*Reviewer is a total homer for Matt and the brews at TBC. He suggest strongly you get some and try for yourself.
