Pours an unfiltered rich brown color with a light tan head that rigs the glass. Beautiful pumpkin ale. The nose is rich with pumpkin, nutmeg, and a touch of cinnamon. Wow.
The taste is in step with the nose, with equal parts pumpkin, nutmeg, and cinnamon providing a flavorful and surprisingly dry, crisp beer that never comes close to cloying, which can happen with pumpkin beers in my experience.
This would be an exquisite beer to enjoy around a fall campfire. One of the better pumpkin beers I’ve had.

Poured into pint glass from 32oz growler.
Appearance: Bronze color with an off-white head. Lacing on the sides and top.
Smell: Great mixture of spices, pumpkin, and maybe even sweet potato. I get very good notes of nutmeg and cinnamon. The pumpkin smell is great too.
Taste: Spectacular. Great pumpkin flavor throughout that isn't too sweet at all. Balances well with the nutmeg and cinnamon. Slight bitterness in the finish, but it doesn't linger too much.
Mouthfeel: Very crisp with sufficient carbonation. Medium bodied.
Overall: Most definitely my favorite pumpkin ale. Great beer that delivers the pumpkin and spice flavors without upsetting your stomach with too much sugar. Great every-day drink.

32 oz. growler poured into a pint glass.
Appearance - Deep amber body with a huge head and decent retention. Lacing is mediocre, but it still looks better than any other pumpkin ale I've had.
Smell - Cinnamon, nutmeg, and pumpkin. And earthy hop aroma rounds it out. Doesn't smell sweet at all, which I like.
Taste - Cinnamon forward, but still a strong pumpkin base. Great flavor considering it's not an "imperial" pumpkin. So many pumpkins become sugar and spice bombs, but the pumpkin does stand out. Finishes rather bitter, reminding you you're still drinking beer.
Mouthfeel - Easy drinking but medium bodied. Not thick and dessert-like. Good carbonation and full flavored throughout the drink.
Overall - A solid pumpkin ale. Definitely one of my favorites. Breweries should take notice that pumpkin ales don't need to be over the top to be delicious.

Pours burnt orange with a pillowy 1 finger head. Smells of allspice, ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla and of course the gourd. Taste follows the nose definate pumpkin pie going on here and a great graham crackery flavor remain on the palette. Carbonation is good for the style. Overall one of the best pumpkins I've ever tried. Great job Matt!
