part of a rotating series of beers they do called the latest batch. its a very simple beer, just pale malt and belgian yeast with a bright fruity top tone to it, clean finishing, and easy drinking. certainly not as layered or dynamic as true belgian made beers in a similar class, but i really appreciate the flavor of the yeast and the refreshment value of this one in a hot muggy florida context. a low abv belgian beer is hard to come by these days, so props for that, and the malt base is flavorful but light in body and sweetness, so the beer finishes clean and dry, perfect on a hot day. i get a little banana and bubblegum on the yeast profile, but they are mild flavors, this is not a polarizing way heavy yeasty brew, in fact its probably filtered, looks to be anyway, super clear, so just the flavor not the weight. a hint of orange juice to the finish, this is a really approachable flavorful craft beer for those not used to drinking this kind of stuff, a perfect introduction to belgian yeast for the curious.

32 oz growler poured into a snifter.

Appearance - Hazy golden body. Nice white head. Doesn't retain, though.

Smell - Yeasty and phenolic. Kinda medicinal, too.

Taste - Grainy malt up front. Phenolic and yeasty. A little spicy. Not medicinal here.

Mouthfeel - Medium light body. Well carbonated m

Overall - A nice expression, even if it smells odd.

Taste: Same as the smell. Hops, wheat and fruit.

Mouthfeel: Great carbonation, smooth and dry.

Overall: A nice clean and crisp beer. All the ingredients are blended well and subtle. Keep it classy TBC. Cheers!
