128 oz. growler poured into a shaker pint.
Appearance - Murky reddish brown body. Medium off white head.
Smell - Very Belgian. Yeasty. Phenolic. Spicy. The pumpkin does take center stage though.
Taste - Pumpkin less prevalent. More pumpkin spice. But the Belgian yeast provides most of the flavor, perhaps to its detriment. Sharp yeasty flavors with a little bit of pumpkin behind it. Cinnamon finish.
Mouthfeel - Medium body. High carbonation.
Overall - I find a lot of Tequesta's Belgian styles to have a sharp and acidic yeast profile. I prefer their regular pumpkin to this.

First had: on tap at the Corner Cafe, Tequesta, FL
A little late (early?) in the year for a pumpkin ale, but okay, I'm game. Murky burnt orange pour, with a small beige head that sank to a thick ringlet and left a bit of lacing on the glass. In the nose, caramel malts, cinnamon, pumpkin, nutmeg...nice typical pumpkin spice aroma, but not quite as tantalizing as many of its contemporaries. Taste reflected the nose, nutty malts, caramel, pumpkin, cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice, not overdone or sweet. Medium body, moderate carbonation, 9%ABV barely detectable. A good middle-of-the-road pumpkin ale overall.

Poured from tap into a TBC Pint Glass with a rim job.
Color: Very murky brownish-orange with a tan head.
Smell: Cinnamon, brown sugar, nutmeg, allspice and pumpkin.
Taste: Cinnamon, nutmeg, pumpkin, brown sugar, allspice, slight hop and alcohol.
Mouthfeel: Good carbonation, slightly coarse and a slight dry finish.
Overall: Can hardly tell it is 9% ABV. This could be a very dangerous beer if you love pumpkin ales. It is ridiculously tastey and well balanced. It's the bigger, badder version of Oh my Gourd. Cheers.
