I had this beer on-tap in a tulip at the brewery.
Appearance: pink with a bit of haze and a strong effervescence. It appeals to me!
Smell: lightly sweet, malty and fruity. It's balanced and has a nice refreshing character.
Taste: this beer reminds me a lot of a rosé champagne, but with a little malt character. And that really works for me.
Mouthfeel: light body but with a big carbonation, which really enforces that champagne feel. I like it.
Overall: this is one damn refreshing beer. The more I sip it, the more I like it. It's definitely the most successful grape must beer I've tried. I could quaff barrels of it.

A white zinfandel brewed saison. Good but not memorable.

Had at the brewery in SE Portland, OR
Sports an attractive ruby-pink coloring very reminiscent of a sparkling Gamay from Bugey. A decent head of pinkish-colored foam dissipates quickly but leaves a tiny amount of white lacing.
Brilliant aromas of Grenache fruit are immediately recognizable. However, the brew is noticeably absent of any brambly berry aromas one would expect from Syrah must.
Plush and soft on the palate after the initial entry, but dramatically cut short before the finish by a dry/dusty old cardboard-like type of a finish.
Worth it just for the bouquet.

Belgian single ale with Red Hill Syrah and Grenache grape must! Great beer and we'll made.
