to make a beer so flavorful yet so low in alcohol but also dry at the same time is not easy. i appreciate a brewery putting together a brew like this too, a classic table beer with a little funk, possibly brett to it, a citrusy hop profile, a nice yellow glow, and a really lasting white head on the top. its one of the lowest alcohol offerings i have seen outside of the likes of mikkeller. slightly floral in its aroma, like clover honey or something, not sweet like that, but with that springtime blooming quality, maybe from the hops, which provide some citrus and a little bitterness too. i would suspect wheat and pils malt as the base, although there could be more in here, maybe even oats, its tough to say because this has some body. still squarely in the light bodied category obviously, but its not watery or irrelevant. fresh and refreshing, easy drinking to say the least, and a nice palate cleanser between some of the more unique and intensely flavored beers they have going on at the commons. thanks for making something like this!
