This full bodied dark Ale, is filled with flavor from Chocolate Malt and Roasted Barley. Nugget hops provide nice bitterness and flavor, with Fuggle hops providing a balanced earthy aroma. Great beer for the dark beer lovers in all of us. OG - 14.5 FG - 4.0 IBUs - 30 ABV - 5.6%

This is a very caramel-forward porter. It's thick, and frankly, probably could be toned down a bit. But the flavor is quite full. Carbonation is pretty full and nips at the tongue a good bit. Pleasant to drink, even on a warm day. But it is a bit too caramel-laiden.

Served on-tap at Marley's.
A - Pours jet black with a nice one finger tall off white head leaving light lace down the glass.
S - Smells of dark roasted grains, coffee grounds, chocolate, and an above average hop aroma. Not too bad really.
T - Starts off with lots of dark roasted grains slowly giving way to a mix of coffee, chocolate, and a surprising amount of hop bitterness. Finish is a mix of dark roast and dulled hop bitterness, lingering on the pallet for some time.
M - Heavy body and flavor with moderate carbonation. Dark, roasty feel that never really goes away, lingering on the pallet for some time after consumption.
O - Easily the best beer I had while at Marley's. Lots of dark roast yet easy to drink thanks to the low ABV. Could have used a touch more flavor but that isn't a real big deal for me.

Pours a very dark brown almost black color. Not much light can be seen through this. Moderate lacing. A very nice roasty aroma coming off of this one. Lots of great roasted malt flavor coming up front followed by some chocolate and coffee. With a bit of hop bitterness at the end. I really like the good amount of roast mixed with this hop profile. This was my favorite beer that I sampled. I will be coming back for a few growlers of this.
