This Red Ale is brewed with 100 pounds of Briess Rye Malt, which give it a crisp yet malty backbone. We use Hallertauer and Amarillo hops to give the beer a nice hop kick to the flavor and aroma. A tribute to one our Brewmaster's favorite beers. OG - 15.0 FG - 2.6 - IBUs - 40 ABV - 6.7%

Pours a cloudy amber color with moderate lacing. The smell brings a citrusy hop aroma and a little rye spiciness. The flavor is a nice balance of bready biscuit, citrusy hops and the rye's spiciness. This is a very nice hoppy amber rye beer. I actually liked this better than the IPA. A very well done and unique beer.
