On tap at Marley's on 4/9/11.

A - Served as a sweaty glass of hazy golden liquid with half a finger's worth of bright white foam on top that reduced to spotty lace and eventually disappeared.

S - Sweet and citrusy with hints of candi sugar, bubblegum and floral notes. Malt character is slightly grainy with hints of sweet honey and caramel.

T - Initial flavor is sweet but with a light hoppy bite that brings some floral notes into the fold. Honey and candi sugar provide ample sweetness, although it never becomes too obtrusive. Finishes with a malty character reminiscent of lightly toasted grains amid a moderately boozy presence and mild bitterness.

M - Medium bodied with a syrupy texture and bristly carbonation. Finishes with moderate alcohol warmth, light bitterness and some residual stickiness on the palate.

D - Solid Tripel that wasn't too sweet or boozy. This one went down effortlessly.
