Picked up a growler after a stop in the brewpub.

Poured into a standard pint glass color is amber, transparent, low head, which is off white in color.

Smell is pleasant blend of toast, light caramel malts, light ester/phenols.

Taste is a different blend of the aroma: nice toast, biscuit flavors, light caramel and then some light esters/phenols. Moderate hop bitterness and earthy flavors noted as well. Reminds of a dubbel/saison blend or similar.

Mouthfeel is very good, nice carbonation then dry finish.

Overall, a very pleasant and easy drinking belgian style ale. All of the belgian styles at Yorkholo were well executed and very drinkable.
