On tap at the Yorkholo brewpub.
A: The hefe is a hazy light color, obscured, with a thin white head.
S: The nose features plenty of wheat, light but spryly tart. That excess wheat comes at the expense of the sweeter yeast aromas that struggle to make it through.
T: Clove upfront, an assertive flavor that segues nicely into the wheat. Like the nose, the wheat is strong and noticeably tart. The initial clove doesn't return, as much as I'd like it to. A good beer that trends more towards the American wheat version.
M: The mouthfeel benefits from the tart wheat, a refreshing bite that has just enough spiciness to it.
