They're still brewing this one as of August 2016....
Black with a thin tan head. Light slightly roasty, slightly sour aroma. Similar taste. Light to medium bodied. A slightly lighter version of the classics --- like a slightly lighter than usual Kostritzer. Enjoyed it enough to have two.

L: maybe the highlight, dark with thick white foam initially, foam stays and laces glass nicely
S: there's almost none, faint toffee smell
T: a decent lager, Malts add some sweetness
F: smooth, again, the malt add makes this beer
O: a good lager, not my scene, but rated by lager, not my stout love

Pours very dark but you can still see through it. Has a light roast nose and a bit of malt as well. Gives about an inch of coffee colored head. The texture is thin as you would expect from a lager and the taste is roasted with toffee notes. It is good for this style of beer.
