this is up there with the best beers i have ever had from mothers, a completely dry hopped east coast ipa type, hazy but pale and thin and delicate, a bomb explosion of juicy hops in the flavor, i would almost swear there has to be fruit in this, tangerine juice and fresh pineapple and green apple for days, the hops are incredible here, and what the beer lacks in grain complexion, body, and overall refinement, it more than makes up for with this hop profile, as good as it gets on the dry hop here, a total winner. its sort of see through because its so thin, like hazy straw colored water, some carbonation visible from the tap but not a lot of head. its really light, i dont get any of the starchy grains in flavor or texture, although i am sure they are present. the hops have lemongrass, cream soda, cantaloupe, and orange essences, really up front and assertive, a glass of juice as much as a glass of beer. almost no bitterness at all either, so they really linger on the finish, which is just fine with me. orange above other fruits, but the hops are pretty complex and well rounded here, id love to know which all varietals were used, this tastes unique to me in that way. its thin in feel, light for its abv, but its nicely carbonated and drinks easy. i get why this is popular right now, its delicious and distinctive and way more drinkable than a lot of the hazies are. extremely tasty and summery!

From a bottle, this brew is a mountain due, hazy beer. The aroma is pungent...hops, juicy fruit, and lots of herbal notes. The taste is more balanced than expected...lots of fruit and hop notes. Bitterness and a little malt. Very fruit centric. Interesting and flavorful. Challenging and wonderful.

Pours hazy yellow color with a thin, fizzy head and minimal lacing.

The smell is tropical, pineapple, and mango.

The taste is tropical, pineapple, with a slight pine resin finish. It avoids the bitter finish on a lot of NEIPAs.

The mouthfeel is slightly thin for the style and effervescent.

Overall a very nice NEIPA effort. It falls a bit short on the feel and taste, but it's a tasty beer.

Sunshine Chugsuckle has a thin, fizzy, white head, a milky white-yellow appearance, and no sort of lacing. Aroma is of a pineapple & white wheat bread thing. Taste is of a weird, stinging, slightly tart, pineapple and sugarless cake batter presentation. Mouthfeel is medium, and Sunshine Chugsuckle finishes mostly dry. My bottle contained a big blob of corn flour-colored stuff, which resembled Liquid Nail. It tasted bitter. RJT

Pours a cloudy maize color. 1/5 inch head of an off-white color. Poor retention and poor lacing. Smells of citrus, citrus hops, slight piney hops, and resin. Fits the style of an American IPA. Mouth feel is sharp and crisp, with a low carbonation level. Tastes of citrus, citrus hops, slight piney hops, earthiness, and resin. Overall, weak appearance, low complexity, with an average aroma and body.

Oddly pale and luminescent in appearance. It's exceptionally murky with hardly any light getting through. There's a fingernail of eggshell white around the rim and covering the majority of the top. The aroma is of tropical punch with notes of pear leading the way. I'm also smelling some peach and pineapple. The taste is an appealing blend of pear along with background notes of citrus and just a hint of pine. The mouth is really light, crisp, and refreshing. Probably the best prepackaged NEIPA I've had yet.

This is probably one of the better things that I've tried recently. First off, I love the label. The beer itself has a very hazy complexion (give your bottle a slight shake to get all of those particles moving), with a very bright color. Kind of looks like a paler orange juice. Slight bit of foam up top. Very pronounced citrus notes on the nose. Bright and juicy are two words that first come to mind with this beer all around, honestly. It's a juicy, hoppy IPA with almost not bitterness. I could crush these things all day, and it's a deceptive 6.5% beer. It drinks more like a session beer because it has a relatively light body. I'm pretty sure this is a limited release, but it should be a part of their year round roster

Received from gibgink in a trade – Thanks Dennis!
Undated 12 oz capped bottle, stored at 42 degrees and served at 42 degrees in a hand washed and dried Jester King snifter.
Appearance – 4.
Body – Medium yellow, opaque.
Head – Average (Maximum three cm, aggressive pour), off-white, low density, rapidly diminishing to a thin one mm ring and a thin center island.
Lacing – None.
First pour – Hazy lemon juice.
Aroma – 4 – Fresh cut citrus.
Flavor – 4 - Very light generic citrus taste, slightly bitter, with a somewhat tart finish. No malt, no alcohol, no yeast, no diacetyl, no dimethylsulfide.
Palate – 3 - Medium, watery, fizzy.
Impression and summation – 4 - This looks like sunshine on a hazy day and smells like a Florida citrus stand – in a word, delightful! However, the lack of any trace of lacing is mildly puzzling – I don’t think I’ve ever had any IPA present without a hint of lacing. Still, that bright, almost glowing, yellow… The flavor is citrusy, like some citrus-ade rather than an actual citrus juice but still not bad. The fizziness is just short of aggressive. Overall, a nice take on the currently popular NEIPA. This is one I’d buy if it were available around here.

I guess this is my first neipa. Do they all smell like armpit?
This is a whitish yellow color and very cloudy.
Smells like hoppy flowers.
The taste is hard to describe. It's different. There's maybe the grassy hops and a grapefruit hop flavor, I can't really tell.
Mouth feel is medium.
If you try this one, make it your first beer of the day. I did give it a 4 overall so I did like it. There is some kind of bite in the back of my mouth especially when it warms up a little, not sure if it's because of the settlings or what that's about. I'll try this one again, like most I try.
