16oz can. Poured out an opaque, jet-black color with a small, light brown head of foam. It smelled of toasted coconut, roasted malt and hints of coffee. Nice roasty flavor with mild toasted coconut and chocolate.

Pours an effervescent ebony with 3 fingers of mocha colored head. No head retention & lacing
S: Plenty of coconut, not much else
T: Roastyness, dryness, a touch of cocconut & iron up front. Toasty Coconut picks up as this warms, along with woody dryness, a touch of vanilla too . Finishes a little dry, a little sweet with nice toasty coconut
MF: Medium body, semi-assertive carbonation
A pretty good take on the style, that was heading for tastyness, but stopped just short

Very coconut forward, but actually well balanced with good malt character.
