On draft. Poured out an opaque, jet-black color with a small, light brown head of bubbly foam. It left sudsy sheets of lace on the glass. It smelled slightly smoky with chocolate, caramel and toffee. Smoked malt taste with caramel, toffee and notes of coffee.

On tap at the brewery. Dark in color with a tan head and lacing. Malty in smell, not much on the nose. Very laid back in flavor profile, malty with a nuttiness to it. Easy to drink
