My family stayed nearby on vacation this summer, and decided to try Dry County. We weren't disappointed.Eight of their own beers on tap,my favorite being the stout. The pizza, which we ordered with sausage and kale as toppings, was wonderful.Probably the best crust I've ever had. And,we were lucky enough to wander in on open mic night, and caught some good local talent. We will definitely return next summer.

Visited here while spending the New Years holiday out in the mountains with my wife and son. We hiked around Linville Falls that afternoon and were looking forward to some pizza and beer. The decor is minimal...ok, non-existent. The walls are white, no art, no nothing. The blown glass tap heads were the only thing resembling deco in the place. We sat down and were greeted quickly, waitress was very friendly, but knew little about the beers on tap. My wife got a flight of the 6 taps (strong golden Belgian, smoked ale, strong Belgian with cherries, New Zealand lager, English ale, and an ESB). I went for the Belgian w/cherries, think they called it the Homewrecker. The beers were hit or miss, the English styles being super misses very little flavor. The golden Belgian and the lager were excellent, while the smoked and the Belgian w/cherries were just ok. We got a pizza to go, which was very good, but not amazing. Also, we wanted something to eat with our beer, but the only app was $10 cheese bread, they might want to rethink this.
The owner rang us up ($18 for a pizza, a high gravity beer and a flight, super cheap!) and told us about his setup and we talked New Zealand hops for a bit. Very nice guy, brews 6 10-gallon batches a week.
Overall, I thought Dry County was ok, and that they're headed in the right direction. Maybe in a few years, their beer and food will be more dialed, but as of now, I won't go out of my way to visit again.
