Look- it's what an IPA is suuposed to look like, beer in its natural form, unfiltered hazyness, pure thing of beauty.
Smell- it's exactly like you'd imagine with the name of the beer, drop your snout into the glass and close your eyes and be transported to a field of Oranges and lemon zest.
Taste- very session able beer, it's light on the pallet, very similar lightness to their Galaxy and Bitter monk but the flavor profile in this one screams at your taste buds, unreal the amount of citrus zest this beer throws off, I don't know the background of this beer but it has some pinot on the front of the tounge as well.
Feel- Like stated above this is an extremely light beer, but not to be confused with a flavorless bud light, this beer is everything a true hop head craves without the gut wrenching cinder block effect of most big IPAs.
Overall this is easily top 10 IPAs I've ever had. This was also drank in session with two bottles of fresh Pliny the elder and two cans of Heady topper at a tasting and it stood up and shocked us all, this has a very east coast style to it while still having Gabes signature touch on it. If I had to choose between this and Pliny on a daily basis I'd choose this 10 times out of 10.
My recommendation for Gabe if he is to read this review, is while Galaxy may be one of your babies to scrap it and bring on this and Juicy Pounder full time and really give us some session IPAs to drink between our drunken slumbers of Deal With the Devil.
