Beautifully clear, golden yellow body; dense, slowly rising carbonation; thick and foamy white head; sticky globs of suds speckle and ring the glass. Warm cereal grain aroma; a touch of herbal spiciness deep in the smell. Taste includes toasted grain and bread crust flavors offset and balanced with a clean and bitter hop element. Light body yet with a nice roundness and depth to the feel; crisp; mineral character; gently warm on the palate; fairly dry throughout.
This is an excellent example of a well-crafted pilsner. Light and refreshing yet also delivering some exquisite toasted grain and mild hop character. Deceptively complex and elegant.
