Hazy gold, light fluffy lacing. Smell is malty, piney, and dank. Dank and piney with a citrusy tang. Crisp, mouth watering, alcohol is disguised well.

A: The beer is very hazy to cloudy yellow in color and has hints of whitish hues. It poured with a quarter finger high white head that left a narrow collar around the edge and lots of lacing down the sides of the glass.
S: Moderate aromas of grapefruit, gooseberry and herbal hops are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell, except that the hops also contribute a light to moderate amount of bitterness.
M: It feels medium-bodied and somewhat juicy on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This Imperial IPA does a very good job at hiding any traces of alcohol from the taste.

Hazy orange. Not a lot on the nose. Lots of orange and grapefruit with a bit of pine. Slightly dank. Hides the alcohol well. Very rich mouth feel.

can into glass chilled
the color very hazy apricot shade with 2 or 3 fingers foam of white
smell of woody hops with light yeast aroma and faint floral with subtle malt in nose mildly spiced scent with mild citrus
the ferel and flavor follow nose with moderate malt and yeast is dry with medium high bitterness and fruity accent with woody and bitter hop flavor that hints at citrus tind and mildly tropical fruit flavors yet hints of alcohol in taste as it finishes on the dry side. the carbonation is sufficiently present to support the malt fortitude with a gently caramel in the malt that blends with gentle apricot taste from yeast and hop combination
overall I wish I had opened this fresh but am still hlad I got to try it it is not overly alcohol or hop flavored it is a well made Imperial IPA

Just finished the fourth beer of the 4 pack on Saturday at the river. $28/4 pack is the most expensive set of hoppy beers I've ever purchased that I can recall.

Pours a slightly bright yellow with 1/3" white head. Interesting aroma, this is a unique hop blend, don't think I've ever had this mix, interested to know more about Cascades from down under. Was generally more aromatic along the lemongrass, pine tree sap kind of smells. Even though there is Vic Secret, didn't think it pushed anything tropical beyond just a hint of pineapple.

Taste was a hoppy bouquet leaning away from that dank and tropical direction, back into more of an Amarillo hay, grass, lemon, unripe melon note. Mouth feel is strongest part of its game, hides alcohol very well, nothing sticky, heavy malt wise, light as a cracker. Even at the 5 months stage, it held up really well, didn't have those uber aroma hops that turn ultra quick. Overall, I would pay $7 a can for this again. Its pretty cool like Tree House's Sap, using older school hops and still turning out a hoppy product that can hang with anything Mosaic/Citra/Galaxy etc. . .

16 ounce can into tulip glass, canned on 11/25/2019. Pours very hazy deep golden/orange/amber color with a 1 finger dense and rocky off white head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a small cap that lasts. Dense soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of big tangerine, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, mango, honeydew melon, berries, citrus peel/rind, wood, mint, peppercorn, pine, wheat, cracker, biscuit dough, light honey/toast, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and bready malt notes; with big strength. Taste of big tangerine, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, mango, honeydew melon, berries, citrus peel/rind, wood, mint, peppercorn, pine, wheat, cracker, biscuit dough, light honey/toast, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, woody, grassy, minty, peppery bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of tangerine, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, mango, honeydew melon, berries, citrus peel/rind, wood, mint, peppercorn, pine, wheat, cracker, biscuit dough, light honey/toast, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and bready malt flavors; with an awesome malt/bitterness balance, and no lingering hop astringency after the finish. Light-moderate increasing dryness from lingering resin bitterness. Medium carbonation and medium-full body; with a very smooth, creamy/bready, and fairly sticky/resinous/rindy mouthfeel that is great. Minimal warming alcohol for 10.4%. Overall this is an awesome TIPA. All around awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and bready malt flavors; very smooth and dangerously easy to sip on for the big ABV, with the mellowly bitter/resinous/drying finish; great soft feel. Awesome Chinook, Cascade, Vic Secret, & Motueka profile. Very juicy, vibrant, dank, and earthy hops; with a nice sized wheat/oat/malt backbone. Light residual sweetness with lingering resin dryness. A really enjoyable offering, and impressive style example as expected of the brewery.

16 oz can from Tavour. Bright orange golden pour, hazy, nice thick cap of fluffy head. Aroma is citrus peel in a pine forest. Taste is sharp and stinging, grapefruit, caramel. A bit of warmth follows.
