16 oz can from Tavour. Murky copper pour, soft, tight head lingers. One word: malty. Aroma is caramel, toffee and oranges. Taste comes in sweet, more caramel and a healthy dose of orange, both OJ and peel. Alcohol warmth right from the start, and stays all the way down. Really nice.

Straw/amber appearance with a significant white head that dissipates slowly. Aroma is a prominent hops and grapefruit. Taste is also a prominent hops and grapefruit. A little thin.

16 ounce can into tulip glass, canned on 9/18/2019. Pours opaquely hazy/cloudy deep orange/copper/amber color with a 1-2 finger dense, creamy, and rocky light khaki head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Thick foamy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of steaming carbonation. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of huge tangerine, orange juice, red grapefruit, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, guava, blueberry, citrus peel/rind, wood, mint, peppercorn, pine, honey, caramel, bread dough, toasted biscuit, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Slight booze in the aromas as it warms, but not overwhelming. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and dark/bready malt sweetness; with big strength. Taste of huge tangerine, orange juice, red grapefruit, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, guava, blueberry, citrus peel/rind, wood, mint, peppercorn, pine, honey, caramel, bread dough, toasted biscuit, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, woody, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of tangerine, orange juice, red grapefruit, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, guava, blueberry, citrus peel/rind, wood, mint, peppercorn, pine, honey, caramel, bread dough, toasted biscuit, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Fantastic complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and dark/bready malt sweetness; with an awesome malt/bitterness balance, and no cloying/astringent flavors after the finish. Light-moderate increasing dryness from lingering bitterness and spicy alcohol. Medium carbonation and fairly full body; with a very smooth, creamy/silky/bready/grainy, sticky/resinous/rindy, and lightly slick balanced mouthfeel that is great. Light increasing warmth of 11.5%, with mild with mild booze lingering after the finish. Overall this is a fantastic NETIPA. All around fantastic complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and dark/bready malt sweetness; very smooth and dangerously easy to sip of for the huge ABV with the modestly bitter/resinous/drying finish. Great soft feel and not overly aggressive. Fantastic 100% Mosaic showcase. Extremely juicy, dank, and earthy hops; with a large sized wheat/oat/malt backbone. Light residual sweetness with lingering resin dryness. A highly enjoyable offering, and outstanding style example. Loved the hop profile as expected.

Anchorage Brewing Company’s Patterns Quadruple IPA 11.5% ABV. This Quadruple IPA pours a deep dark golden orange color with a orange tinted colored one finger width head that lingers for a while before leaving some lacing on the glass. The aroma is of fresh citrus like oranges mangoes peaches grapefruits pineapples with a hint of pine all wrapped in a malty sweetness. The flavor is very similar to the aroma with the citrus shining through in the way of the oranges peaches pineapples mangoes and a heavy dose of grapefruit with a malty sweetness that adds depth there’s also a slight hint of pine before finishing with a refreshing hop bitterness. The mouthfeel is syrupy and mouth coating without a ton of carbonation it finishes drying on the palate from the high alcohol content. 8.5/10

Canned 9/18/19, consumed 10/12/19.
Very pretty beer poured into a tulip. It's a candy orange with a two finger dense, creamy head that sticks around awhile.
Unlike the mild scent, the flavor is an attention-grabbing blast of white fruit, nectarine or apricot, lime, citrus, tangerine, then some caramely and bready flavors. Smooth finish. Fruit and citrus dominate and mask the strong ABV.
Its good and I wish I had another can for another night.
