Bright and clear golden body; lots of lively carbonation; thick and creamy white head. Outstanding cracker and biscuit aroma; slight herbal and grassy hop aroma. Fairly mild yet tasty light malt flavor; hop bitterness starts out slowly and finishes balanced and strong at the finish. Fairly light body; smooth with a crisp bite and a mild warmth.

This is a delicious, well-balanced German-style lager.

16 ounce can into lager glass, canned on 11/22/2019. Pours fairly crystal clear pale golden yellow color with a 1 finger fairly dense and fluffy white head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Dense foamy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of lemon, cracker, white bread dough, light biscuit/toast, wood, peppercorn, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. A bit of fruity/yeasty aromas, but not overwhelming. Nice and pleasant aromas with great balance of pale malt and earthy hop notes; with solid strength. Taste of lemon, cracker, white bread dough, light biscuit/toast, wood, peppercorn, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate herbal, floral, woody, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of lemon, cracker, white bread dough, light biscuit/toast, wood, peppercorn, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Great robustness and balance of pale malt and earthy hop flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and no lingering hop astringency after the finish. Fairly crisp/clean finishing. Very clean on lager flavors, with minimal fruity/yeasty notes. Light-moderate increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium-plus carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth and moderately bready/grainy/sticky balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 5.3%. Overall this is a delicious German Helles. All around nice robustness and balance of pale malt and earthy hop flavors; very smooth, crisp, clean, and refreshing to drink with the modestly bitter/drying finish; very flavorful and not watery for the ABV. Great clean pils malt showcase, with perfectly balanced noble hops. Mild residual sweetness with crisp dryness. A very enjoyable offering, and impressive spot on style example.

16oz canned 11/22/19. Opened 1/17/20.
2 finger white head with very good retention, falls to 1/4" slowly over the course of 5 minutes. Early lacing is fresh and clingy. Pale straw colored lager, clean and clear.
Soft, bready malt nose with a light honey aroma. Hops are grassy and maybe a touch spicy. Clean, simple, and smells great.
Lightly sweet malt and grassy, spicy hops...subtle and delicious.
Clean, light mouthfeel. Close to crisp with medium carbonation. Clean finish. Drinkability is very high.
Very good to outstanding...very nice to have a fresh, well made Helles to enjoy.

Nice, robust German-style Helles Lager. Bright gold, three-finger white head, beautiful malt presence, deep grain flavor. Authentic Old World touch. Prost!
