Very cloudy straw appearance with nice white head that dissipates slowly. Aroma is a very pleasant grapefruit and citrus. Taste is bitter smooth grapefruit and citrus. A little thin.

16 oz can from Tavour. Hazy orange golden with a thin, filmy white head, rings of lacing. Aroma is oranges, citrus. Taste reverts to orange peel, with a nice robust , juicy body. Finishes with a dry bitterness. Does not seem at all like 10%.

Loved everything about this New England style Triple IPA. The hop citrus nose explodes from the can as soon as the top is popped. Nice deep gold haze, and flavors that come at you in lovely choreographed sequence--some bitterness, citrus, mild fruit like melon, and a long wave aftertaste that keeps you smiling. Outstanding!

L: Plum yellow murky hue with a sparse ivory head settling down to a ring on the glass and near complete rings of lace with every couple drinks.
S: Spicy citrus, pine, and bubblegum with a mellon undercurrent.
T: Following the nose with added mineral, booze, and medicinal notes. The alcohol is well hidden though and I'd expect this to be about 8.5%'ish ABV.
F: Heavier body. Both silky and biting with carbonation, hop bitterness, and pine resin.
O: I'm a lover of Anchorage brews, but this one is a bit soft and muted. A tad overrated. Still satisfied...or is that the ABV talking!

Cloudy, dark yellow body; thick and frothy white head. Kind of a spicy, citrus aroma. Surprisingly mellow juicy flavor; bitter with a touch of phenols; a bit spicy with an undercurrent of dull sweetness; bubblegum. Heavy body; warm and velvety; a tad acidic; a modicum of alcohol heat.
For a triple IPA, this beer is fairly subtle. It's New England / hazy lineage is there, providing some decent juiciness and sweetness, and perhaps that is why the alcohol content is so relatively hidden. I wouldn't recommend this one for the faint of heart, but for the adventurous soul, well, this beer might open some new experiential dimensions...

As unclekeith said, you have no idea this is TIPA based on the way it goes down. The kind of buyer beware most love. I do actually wish it had a little more "umph" or substance behind it. Just a teeny tiny bit. It feels a little too weak how subtle it is.
