Pours gold with a head that can really get away from you if your not careful, leaves a nice frothy head and sticky lacing.
The DDHing lends some floral and citrus character to an otherwise faint nose. A little bit of rubber in there, maybe because of canning date of 1/24/20
Fruity, borders on NE pale ale in taste with the clean, biscuity bread flavors of a pilsner barely coming through.
A bit of bitter bite in the after taste, somewhat full umami. Fluffy
To be honest it’s not much of a pilsner experience, but it has its moments when it says “hey don’t forget I’m a lager”
Very good overall

16oz canned 1-24-20. Opened 3-6-20.
3 finger white head with a bit of foam cresting over the rim of the glass. Excellent retention, hasn't budged after several minutes. Golden straw color pilsner with great clarity, carbonation furiously swirling towards the head keeping it alive long past acceptable. Thick and foamy lacing left behind.
Aroma of fresh hay, grass, and citrus. Herbal. Even some tropical. White grape. Slight sulfur hint. There's melon apparent midway through. Diesel.
Bright lime, white grape, some citrus up front and a bitter herbal note middle to late.
Crisp body. Light mouthfeel and high carbonation. Clean and dry finish with a hop bitterness that can hang.
Refreshing and said again: crisp.
Outstanding.

The looks of this beer poured into a flute styled german pilsner glass (albeit with a little extra head by my own mistake) was fantastic. A solid and dirty gold color topped with a perfectly fluffy head and it smelt great. While my skills in this area are honing, I could instantly recognize the citra and galaxy hops from previous tastings.
Speaking of taste, I think I like it because it does have a bit more body than I would expect from a Pilsner. I generally drink Pilsners when I'm simply just not trying to have anything terribly strong or maybe I want something crispier. This is somehow all of the above(??) Its slightly drying but it lingers just in the furthest parts of the tongue. Its slightly resinous but not bitter or off putting.

Pale golden yellow body; lots of carbonation; thick, rocky, snow-white head, very long lasting; solid rings of lacing cascade down the glass. Beautiful bouquet of melon and floral scents; fruity. Well-balanced flavors of light grain and slow-burn hop bitterness; delicate sweetness; clean and refreshing. Medium body; crisp; mild dryness.
This is a fantastic pilsner, light enough in body yet packed with excellent flavor for the style. A superb beer...

L: An interesting murky but also milky tangerine with a four finger dense head with a vigorous pour, fading to a really thick ring and sparse cap of ivory foam. Mountainous lines of lace left behind.
S: Oddball aroma of cracker malts, hints of melon and stone fruits, and slightly soapy quality.
T: The lager yeast is there for sure, but otherwise it’s an atypical Pilsner. Some spicy and floral hops pervade. Some grape must.
F: Medium to slightly heavier weight and mouthfeel. Average bitterness, sugar, and carbonation.
O: Kindof a cross between a Nelson Sauvin IIPA and a Pilsner. Odd indeed but still highly drinkable! I’m rating this one for overall enjoyment instead of adherence to style as I think this is exactly the kind of experimentation the industry should head into. Creative.
