Super cloudy yellow with a white head and tons of lacing. I get notes of orange juice, grapefruit, white grape, melon and apricot with honeycomb and decent hop bitters intertwined through out the aromas. Taste follows this theme, not as complex but seamless and full profiled. Grapefruit, honey, and honeydew are the lasting elements through the finish besides the mild hops. Feel is thick, somewhat sludgy, though decently juicy and bright in the mouth. Doesn't get boozy or too resinous being a triple ipa

16 ounce can into tulip glass, canned on 3/13/2020. Pours opaquely hazy deep golden/orange/amber color with a 1-2 finger dense and rocky off white head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Thick foamy lacing clings on the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of big mandarin orange juice, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, guava, red apple, currant, red berries, red grape/wine, citrus peel/zest, wood, peppercorn, pine, honey, wheat, white bread dough, light toast/biscuit, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical/light earthy hops, honey, and bready malt notes; with big strength. Taste of huge mandarin orange juice, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, guava, red apple, currant, red berries, red grape/wine, citrus peel/zest, wood, mint, peppercorn, pine, honey, wheat, white bread dough, light toast/biscuit, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Mild pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, woody, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Slight yeasty tang/tartness. Lingering notes of mandarin orange juice, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, guava, red apple, currant, red berries, red grape/wine, citrus peel/rind, wood, mint, peppercorn, pine, honey, wheat, white bread dough, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Incredible complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/light earthy hops, honey, and bready malt flavors; with a fantastic malt/bitterness balance; and no cloying/astringent flavors after the finish. Lightly increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and medium-full body; with as very smooth, creamy/silky/bready, and lightly slick/sticky/resinous/rindy mouthfeel that is fantastic. Minimal warming alcohol for 8.4%, or lingering hop burn after the finish. Overall this is an incredible hazy TIPA. All around fantastic complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/light earthy hops, honey, and bready malt flavors; very smooth and dangerously easy to drink for the ABV, with the mildly bitter/resinous/drying finish; fantastic soft/silky feel for the ABV. Fantastic southern passion, ekuanot, enigma, vic secret, and simcoe profile. Extremely juicy, vibrant, and lightly dank/earthy hops; with a large sized honey and wheat/oat/malt backbone. Light residual sweetness with lingering resin dryness. A highly enjoyable offering, and amazingly spot on style example as expected of the brewery.

A: The beer is very hazy dark yellow in color - much too hazy to see if there is any visible carbonation. It poured with a quarter finger high dense white head that died down, consistently leaving a thin layer of bubbles covering the surface and lots of lacy rings of bubbles around the sides of the glass.
S: Moderate aromas of honey are present in the nose along with notes of grapefruit citrus.
T: The taste follows the smell and also has a strong dose of honey flavors along with underlying notes of grapefruit. Only a faint amount of bitterness is noticeable.
M: It feels a bit more than medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: I was amazed at how well the honey was incorporated into this IPA and it had lots of honey flavors without any associated bitterness. The alcohol was well hidden from the taste.

16oz can from Tavour. Anchorage IPAs usually knock my socks off, and this is no exception. Hazy golden orange body, small fizzy head turns into avspotty cover that leaves streaky lacing. Citrus and dank fight it out for control of the aroma, but its a tie. Taste favors the herbal, grassy, dank hops and the fruity citrus in the aroma turns into citrus peel. Overtly bitter all the way through the finish, subdued sweetness and light floral notes.
