Poured pale gold, and a semi hazy; tight white head; minimal cap retention; solid ring; sudsy lacing. Grapefruit nose. Semi bitter grapefruit rind followed by some lemon peel. Medium light body; moderate minus carbonation; no astringency; light, crisp feel; no warmth from 6.4% ABV. Mild bitter grapefruit linger; an easy drinking IPA with great nose and taste; sick can artwork as usual.

really nice beer, dope art on the can as always, somewhat spendy, but you get what you pay for with these guys pretty much all the time, hundred dollar small bottles of barrel aged beers are in the eye of the beholder of course. a very nice expression of simcoe and galaxy, more of the latter than the former to me in both aroma and flavor, gentle for simcoe, even for a hazy, no real bitterness to this, and it presents as easy and summery and quite fresh to me, super pale in the glass, only lightly hazy, not a murk bomb, washed out straw colored with a lot of bubbles but just a short white head after a minute. awesome nose here, floral first but then lime leaf and green melon, very galaxy forward, and very nicely dry hopped, a great expression of this hop, lemongrass and white grapefruit also present, herbal without being super intense, a raw element to the grain side is cool, maybe unmalted wheat, earthy and dry, this is simple in a good way, quite distinctive, subtly yeasty in a way that enhances it. the flavor is great too, and these varietals combine well, white florals, elderflower, key lime, white coconut shreds, and honeydew, a little oily weight on the palate but it stays quite light, real dry as these go too, quite quick. it warms to mild grain starch, lime candy, and white tea, with just a little bit of gin character very late, delicious. this is smart, bright, and well crafted, the hop profile makes it but the beer is cleverly constructed around these hops, and i could drink a half dozen of these pretty easily, about as high drinkability for a hazy as you will find. always a treat to drink anchorage beers, and neat that they exist in distribution in idaho a little bit, even if they are expensive...

Citrus and berry hop aroma and flavor but also a touch earthy; lightly dank. Nice balance of flavors with decent bitterness. Light to medium bodied with a light dry bitter finish.

Pours bright and hazy from the 16oz can...brilliant white cap of foam...juicy, green, floral...tropical, citrus rind, grapefruit, malt backbone, smooth body, medium mouthfeel light-to-medium carbonation. Enjoyable.

*Poured into a Teku glass from a 16oz can*

This beer looked a nice pastel orange, was predictably hazy, and had a half finger thick white colored head to it with a moderate amount of retention. The head was nice and fluffy, and had a good amount of rocky bubbles to it.

The aroma was nice and ctirusy, which gave me nice mellow notes of grapefruit and oranges with a nice passion fruit and pine undertone throughout.

The taste followed the nose, but it was a lot more balanced between the malts and the hops than I expected. While I thought the taste of grapefruit dominated the flavor profiles of this beer, I still got the expected notes of mellow grapefruits, oranges, a bit of passion fruit, and pine in the front, which then fades quickly to just notes of grapefruit in the middle. Notes of malts and bread showed up in the back-end which was supported by slightly bitter notes of grapefruit.

The feel of this was full-bodied, highly carbonation, smooth and dry. I thought that this was overall super easy to drink and very refreshing. Had no notable lingering aftertaste.

Citrusy, juicy, smooth, and very drinkable. Another solid NEIPA from Anchorage!
