Anchorage is known for their heavy hitting beers so it was shocking to see an IPA at 4% ABV. Kindness is a light and juicy IPA that boasts mainly orange and citrus tasting notes. This is definitely the tamest beer I have tried from the Alaska brewery but reminiscent of the lo-cal IPAs on the market. We could all use a little more Kindness in our lives.

Soft, pale yellow body, semi-cloudy; nice head, white and semi-creamy. Nice citrus note on the nose; lemon; nectarine; bready. Light citrus flavor; a bit watery; minimal hop taste. Medium body; slightly sharp and tart on the palate; watery.
This is a fine looking beer with a nice aroma, but the taste and mouthfeel are weak. Brewed with Phantasm powder and Mosaic hops with lactose, yet there is little hop flavor intensity and the body doesn't suggest any lactose.
Poured at 45 °F; no canning data seen on the can.

Large, rich head. Extremely fragrant, tropically speaking. Nice, light gold color. Nice bright mosaic pop at the beginning and a mild bitterness on the finish make it suuuper drinkable. Lactose keeps 'er smooth.
