poured from a 16oz can into a veil willi becher pint glass. pours like mountain dew out of the can but settles in the glass a hazy yellowish orange with finger of soapy white foam head. citrusy orange, tropical passionfruit and even peach on the nose. taste mostly follows with hints of grass and dank weed. medium-full mouthfeel good but a lot of these “thiol-boosting” IPAs have some wonderful aromas to them but it’s misleading as the taste doesn’t quite follow or deliver. this wasn’t bad by any means but it has a somewhat off taste to it that i can’t quite pinpoint even though it’s still there.

Nothing crazy. Hazy golden yellow body. Gamey nose, almost sort of meat-like. Floral and citrus notes otherwise dominate. Papaya, zest, grapefruit, spicy tropical fruit. Medium bodied, moderately bitter citrus zest on the finish.

Pretty sure this is my first Phantasm powder beer, it was the Nelson hop addition that lured me in though.

This is pretty good, but I had hoped for more. Dry white notes and some tropical fruit up front with gently bitter citrus at the end. Some honey dew flavor emerges as this warms. Gets kind of skunky too. Liking it more, upping the score. Fairly full flavored but not overpowering.
