phantasm powder and thiolized yeast in the same beer, mega! i think in some ways they do the same thing, but why risk it? going all on the thiols here,oh by the way its double dry hopped too, and its cool, the beer is insanely pungent and juicy and interesting, without being overdone, green, bitter, harsh, or vegetal, but its still kind of a beast of a beer, and for me a slow drinker and maybe even small doses thing, just due to intensity of flavor alone. a little less milky and dense looking than anticipated, low orange glow, solid haze, and nearly two inches of thick cream head on it. the nose is amazing and the taste is close, bigtime green grape, white wine, pear skin, huge southern hemisphere character, new school sativa covered in trichomes, mango and peach, starchy from the grain, almost like it was milled into fine flour and just stirred in, weird but not unappealing, lightly estery too, faintly chemical but in a way that i find intriguing. the flavor is close to just as intense, although a little nod to the nose, im surprised how silky it feels, no tongue burn at all for this pungency. white peach, pineapple candy, fresh honeydew, good gin, and a little spiciness with that. it drips with juiciness, the thiol aspect is as evident as it ever has been in a beer, and there is no doubt this is the future, even if its kind of overkill in this beer. i think brewers are still figuring out how to best use this yeast, cool these guys keep pushing the boundaries. faint alcohol, peach nectar, dandelion at the end, and a slightly sludgy feeling to this even though the carbonation is there. maybe a tad unrefined compared to their best, but this is a cool use of these modern and sexy ingredients and i dont know anyone else doing hops like this right now. really clever and truly educational and informative! super fun.

16oz can from Tavour. Hazy straw pour, thick white head, rings of lacing. Citrusy aroma, fruity, mild sweetness. Taste is tangerine, orange, grapefruit, zesty, tangy. Nice!
